MQTT is a lightweight protocol mainly designed for transferring telemetry data, with configurable reliability. It adopts a publish/subscribe communication paradigm based on a central broker (e.g., Mosquitto). Delivered data belongs to specific topics which allow subscribers to select needed streams, only.
